With around 3000 members, all aspects of real estate are represented: appraisers, developers, brokers and agents. Members abide by the AMPI Code of Ethics and by-laws. AMPI is governed by the National Board of Directors, which elects a national president for two year terms. Los Cabos has its own chapter of AMPI which works together with federal, state and municipal authorities, proposing new laws and amendments to existing laws and regulations directly related to the real estate activity. This includes real estate licensing in the state of Baja California Sur. When you hire a member of AMPI as a real estate representative know they are trained and licensed according to the state licensing requirements.
This respected organization provides a platform for its members to deliver the highest level of professionalism, moral solvency and capacity through its commitment to the organization’s Code of Ethics and a mutual desire to raise the performance and reputation of the Mexican real estate industry. A volunteer board includes an honour and justice committee who work to manage any disputes or complaints. AMPI through its training programs, connects with its associates on a local and national level. It offers its members conferences, seminars, courses and forums. Continuing education is designed to raise the AMPI Los Cabos standards through introductory, intermediate, advanced and specialized courses and certifications.
