You can feel the holiday atmosphere in our two towns, which year over year begin to feel more like cities. Both San Jose and San Lucas, with their best restaurants, get ready to please the most demanding customers who are ready to try exquisite menus.
The beaches and beach clubs get flooded with visitors seeking to enjoy the best weather that the end of the year could offer, warm during the day but romantically chilly at night, perfect for dressing up with elegance.

The Most Glamorous Night at Cabo
And speaking of elegance, let’s talk about the most glamorous night at Mexico’s top exclusive paradise, Cabo. Whether you spend the last dinner of the year at one of the many restaurants that offer the best skills of the chefs for that night or inside a luxury hotel, make sure you do your New Year’s countdown at Medano Beach.
About a dozen hotels lined up at the most swimmable beach in Los Cabos light up their fireworks at the same time, offering a synchronized show that mesmerizes the whole bay. Yes, you guessed it right, spending the NYE at the place that everyone wants to be could be difficult regarding reservations, so I suggest booking as soon as possible. And to help you a little bit in the pursuit of the countless options, I can share with you some of my favorite ones.

Bagatelle at the Marina
Starting with Bagatelle at the Marina, right in front of The Terminal. This restaurant and beach club offer high-end gourmet French cuisine that always satisfies the toughest sybarites. But that doesn’t mean that you will have a boring dinner, because great musicians and dancers will be performing during the courses to keep up the party spirit, and later at night, great DJs will create an incredible evening.

Rooftop 360 at Corazón Hotel
Let’s continue with Rooftop 360 at Corazón Hotel; this bar offers an all-around view of Cabo San Lucas city and the beach. It is famous for hosting great vibes every weekend with local and special guest DJs, and on the 31st, DJ Chris García will be in charge of the celebration’s music. The rooftop will be the best spot for capturing the fireworks with your cell phone.

Taboo at ME Cabo Hotel
Then we have Taboo at ME Cabo Hotel; these guys know how to turn a great dinner service into a party with musicians and performers. Their after-dinner party will be led by DJ Mat.Joe with EDM and techno jams.

The Cape Hotel
The list is long, but I think my last suggestion is the always trendy and stylish The Cape Hotel; their rooftop has been, for many years, the best place to have an exclusive view of the bay. Plus, they always know how to turn the whole building into an epic celebration center. This year, they named their NYE party Genesis, and international DJs Superlover and Miami Horror will create an indie atmosphere for those who look for a more sophisticated night.
