With a two-hour flight available through the CBX (Cross Border Xpress) in Otay, San Diego, CA, which offers long-term parking. After a short walk (wheelchair access is available), you can reach Tijuana Airport (passports are required, along with an immigration form to enter Mexico). Airlines such as Volaris and Calafia Airlines offer round-trip flights to La Paz for approximately $250-$300, depending on the season. There’s a new direct flight coming up in November with Alaska Airlines flying from Los Angeles LAX to La Paz.
Perfect Year-Round Climate
The weather is warm and sunny throughout the year, with temperatures ranging from 65°F to 75°F in winter and 75°F to 100°F in summer. Humidity is generally low, except during the hurricane season and tropical storms in September.

La Paz features a well-developed infrastructure, including an international airport, universities, sports facilities, gyms, and quality medical services with bilingual doctors. The welcoming international community hosts social events, and friendly locals speak English.

Surrounded by the blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, La Paz is home to a variety of breathtaking beaches, including the famous Balandra, often regarded as the most beautiful beach in the world. Ranked among the top 10 beaches in Mexico, as well as Tecolote and Pichilingue, Balandra’s crystal-clear waters and unique landscape make it an unforgettable destination for visitors and locals alike., located about 20 miles south. The Malecon (The Boardwalk), a waterfront promenade, is lined with diverse restaurants, bars, nightclubs, boutiques, and shops, offering great ice cream and beautiful ocean views. There’s a cycling path and ample sidewalks for leisurely walks, along with tai chi and yoga activities. The sunsets are breathtaking, and nearby beaches like Coromuel and El Caimancito are just a few miles away. About 25 miles northwest lies La Ventana, known for its vibrant beaches and water sports, including kite surfing, scuba diving, and snorkeling.

Real estate prices remain attractive as the market begins to boom. You can find brand-new condos with ocean views starting at around $350,000, while new homes typically start from $400,000 and up. The resale market features properties under $350,000, depending on age, size, condition, and location.
