Libby was born and raised in the U.S., in a small town in Ohio. Libby, however, had aspirations of traveling and living internationally early on. After university, Libby moved to Chicago where she started her 20-year career in real estate.
Libby brings a unique perspective to the industry; having first worked for a shopping centre developer on existing and new developments, a boutique brokerage firm in niche areas in the market, and commercial real estate focusing on retail portfolios overseeing the strategy and dealmaking on more than 350 locations.
Finally, prior to arriving in Los Cabos, overseeing a multi-billion dollar, global real estate portfolio of data centres and industrial real estate. As you can see, the passion for all things real estate is evident!
Libby’s passion for real estate, the continued desire to learn new facets of the industry, and her curiosity to experience new and different cultures were the driving forces behind her moves to expand her career internationally. Libby’s drive to conquer new areas of real estate and the world paid off when she kicked off her journey into international real estate in London. Libby first had the amazing opportunity to expand real estate portfolios across Europe, and within only a few years, on a global scale.
This evolving international career had her moving to Switzerland, Italy, and France. As a tenacious dealmaker and negotiator, always doing the right thing for her client and getting best-in-class terms, she was also leading real estate teams in their strategies of expansion, development and optimization.
After almost 10 years abroad, an amazing real estate opportunity brought Libby back to the U.S. Coincidentally, living on the West Coast gave her the opportunity to visit Los Cabos. It didn’t take long for her to realize she wanted and needed the Baja life! After numerous monthly visits to Los Cabos, Libby’s love of the land, people, and culture brought her to the decision to move permanently to San Jose del Cabo to continue her real estate career in the residential and development market.
When not working or at the beach, you can find her strolling through the streets of San Jose with her legendary sidekick, Bruce, her mini Aussiedoodle. Please do say hello when you see them. They love meeting new people and talking about their love of the area, all of the boundless opportunities (real estate and more), and enjoyment that Los Cabos shares, especially if Bruce is receiving copious amounts of love and attention!
